For my commercial project, I decided to work by myself. The reasons why I wanted to work by myself was because of many reasons. One reason that I wanted to work by myself was because I get a feel of how to do a full project by myself just incase I want to do my final project by myself, I can already have experience working on everything by myself. Another reason why I want to work by myself is because I realized that when I work alone, I thrive and do really good. The third reason why I want to work alone is because I really want my creativity to come out in this project so I can actually see my ideas come to life. Plus, I was told that when I work with people, I can get a little bit distracted. I was also told that I work really well alone, so I wanted to keep those conversations in mind while working on this project. I like to work with people, but usually when I work with people, I kind of get frustrated when certain things don't go according to plan or my partners don't do what they need to do. So to avoid that frustration from happening, I'd much rather work alone, no offense to anybody. To be honest, I know that it's good to work in groups just so you don't have to do so much work. But, I'd like to kind of challenge myself just because it's the first project of the year and it's the easiest so I can really see how things are done. And with me knowing that other people are working in groups and I'm working alone, makes me even more motivated to rise to the challenge. I also realized that I need to see who I am as a creator/director/filmmaker to even work with people because if I have the wrong attitude, no one is going to want to work with me. Another reason why I want to work by myself is because no one can boss me around. As weird/mean as that sounds, that's actually really good for me. I say that because, when I get bossed around sometimes I get aggravated so I can be my own boss in this film production. One of the last reasons why I want to work alone is because I can feel the satisfaction of knowing I did this whole project by myself. I thought of the idea, planned, researched, casted, filmed, and edited. Plus, I am the only one that can take credit for my personal work. I honestly can't wait until we get to recording this commercial, I'm really excited!!

The third genre that my group will be researching is comedy.  Lighting used in comedic movies usually are three-point, high key, and low key lighting. The lighting is used to set the mood of the scenes and match the settings as well. For example, if someone is at a party, they will most likely use low key lighting to portray the fact that the characters are at a party. Camera angles most used in comedy films are high angles, low angles, and dutch angles. The low angle is used to make the person appear more dominate over someone or something. High angles are used to do the exact opposite of what low angle does for the actor. High angle makes the actor appear more vulnerable or make it known that there is something or someone higher or above the actor. Sound Script The natural sounds of objects moving around can be heard throughout each scene. Scene 1 No dialogue Scene 2 No dialogue. Scene 3 No dialogue.  Scene 4 Jayden- ...hello?  Treneé Parker -...uhh...hi, how can I help you? *Stands up and dusts off her pants* Jayden- Yeah, I was wondering where your boss might be? Treneé- That’s me. *says confidently* Jayden- You? You’re the owner of Parker’s Automotive. *says shocked but impressed* Treneé- Um…yes? Jayden- I didn’t know a little lady like you could do a man’s job. *laughs* Treneé- What’s that supposed to mean? Actually never mind just come into the store so I can assist you. Production Blog: Filming

The filming process for this music video was a long one. I decided that I wanted to make changes to the plot of the music video right before I started filming and everything. While filming, I made an accident and followed my storyboard. Then I realized later on that my storyboard was not what I was supposed to be following. I was supposed to follow the changes that I had written down in my "Notes" app on my phone. So once I realized that, I went ahead and made more storage on my filming device. My filming device was just my cell phone. But, I cleared storage by just simply permanently deleting the takes that I didn't need since the plot changed. So while filming, I came across some troubles. Since I was the main character, some times I couldn't make shots the way I wanted to. But, of I had a backup plan. I had to finesse it in one way or another so I had to go ahead and use my backup plan. My backup cameraman was my little sister. Thankfully she was able to help me. I
