Storyboard for My Music Video

1st Scene: In the first scene, the main character will be sitting on her bed doing business things, like packaging orders for her small business.


2nd Scene: In the second scene, the character will say "I can't believe how far I've come, I'm so proud of myself".


3rd Scene: In the third scene, the lady will be sleeping in her bed and the song will finally begin.


4th Scene: In the fourth scene, the woman will wake up and pick out her clothes for work.


5th Scene: In the fifth scene, the lady will be getting dressed for work.


6th Scene: In the sixth scene, the woman will be doing her hair, brushing her teeth, and washing her face, basically all of the basic bathroom routines to go to work.


7th Scene: In the seventh scene, the lady will be driving and also arrive to work.


8th Scene: In this next scene, the man will appear, see the woman, and be fascinated by her.


9th Scene: In this scene, the man will see the woman and try to get her attention.


10th Scene: In this scene, the man decides that he will try, no matter what, to get the girls attention.


11th Scene: In this second to last scene, the man finally gets the woman's attention and they finally talk.


12th Scene: In this last scene, the end card for the music video will appear and reveal the song name.


*Each scene will last about 6 seconds and will have a little bit of dialogue throughout the music video and will also include the song choice playing over the scenes.*

The third genre that my group will be researching is comedy.  Lighting used in comedic movies usually are three-point, high key, and low key lighting. The lighting is used to set the mood of the scenes and match the settings as well. For example, if someone is at a party, they will most likely use low key lighting to portray the fact that the characters are at a party. Camera angles most used in comedy films are high angles, low angles, and dutch angles. The low angle is used to make the person appear more dominate over someone or something. High angles are used to do the exact opposite of what low angle does for the actor. High angle makes the actor appear more vulnerable or make it known that there is something or someone higher or above the actor. Dutch angles are used to add an dramatic effect to either a confusing or awkward situation. Camera movements used in comedy films are pan, tilt, handheld, zooms and steadicams. Scene 3 No dialogue.  Scene 4 Jayden- ...hello?  Treneé Parker -...uhh...hi, how can I help you? *Stands up and dusts off her pants* Jayden- Yeah, I was wondering where your boss might be? Treneé- That’s me. *says confidently* Jayden- You? You’re the owner of Parker’s Automotive. *says shocked but impressed* Treneé- Um…yes? Jayden- I didn’t know a little lady like you could do a man’s job. *laughs* Treneé- What’s that supposed to mean? Actually never mind just come into the store so I can assist you. Production Blog: Filming

The filming process for this music video was a long one. I decided that I wanted to make changes to the plot of the music video right before I started filming and everything. While filming, I made an accident and followed my storyboard. Then I realized later on that my storyboard was not what I was supposed to be following. I was supposed to follow the changes that I had written down in my "Notes" app on my phone. So once I realized that, I went ahead and made more storage on my filming device. My filming device was just my cell phone. But, I cleared storage by just simply permanently deleting the takes that I didn't need since the plot changed. So while filming, I came across some troubles. Since I was the main character, some times I couldn't make shots the way I wanted to. But, of I had a backup plan. I had to finesse it in one way or another so I had to go ahead and use my backup plan. My backup cameraman was my little sister. Thankfully she was able to help me. I...
