Production Blog: We’re Making Changes!!

 

During the whole process of making my film, there was a realization that I received. That realization was that some parts of the plot, made no sense whatsoever. So, changes were made to the plot. The changes were made right before the filming process started. The storyboard and planning were both finished, but I wasn't content with the plot. So, there were multiple changes in the whole plan of the music video. There was changes in characters, the storyline, and even a location. So, my original main character had to cancel due to personal reasons. I had to find a new main character and quick. Gratefully, I was able to find one.There will be a change in the main location too. Our new location had to be a gas station because we couldn’t find an auto shop to use as our filming area. An additional location will be a car. And of course, the storyline will be changed as well. So, the first couple of scenes will be changing. The film will no longer start off with the main character’s store front. It’ll start with the main character walking out of her store. Since we also no longer have a male actor, why group and I had to find a new character. Luckily we just decided to have one of us play a regular lady coming to get her car fixed. This kind of messed with the plot a little because if we had a man saying the things that the woman says, it would’ve made more sense because it correlated to our theme. It’s okay though because these changes are still good and will help the film.
