The opening credits of our film will be in a cursive font. The name of the font is Writing. This font will be used for the whole opening credits. The titles will fade into the screen, then it will fade away. It will be on the screen for about 5 seconds before fading away. Since its only a few words, I believe that's a good enough time to read. This is how the titles will appear on the screen throughout the opening credits: “ 𝒯𝒽𝓇𝑜𝓊𝑔𝒽 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝒮𝓉𝓇𝓊𝑔𝑔𝓁𝑒” The titles will be displayed onto the screen in purple and white with a Script MT font. I chose cursive and purple because purple is known for a majestic vibe. My film circulates around the royalty of all black women in the world and how they should be seen as queens and nothing less. Schedule 3/16/22- We will start filming the first five scenes. We will also film scene ten so that we can record the one voiceover of the film. We will also use this day to mark where the next scenes will be filmed. This will make it easier for the next set of scenes to be filmed. 3/18/22- We will complete the filming process. We will film the remaining scenes and then review the scenes to check if they need to be done all over again. 3/22/22-  We will start editing the film. We will just be placing the film in order and making sure the scenes were done in a way so that the film can run smoothly. We will also take this time to see if anything should be added or not.  4/01/22- We will use this day to make sure we film any scenes that needed to be reshot after we made note of them the first time we were editing. If no scenes need to be retaken, we will continue editing this day. 4/09/22- We will finish editing the film. we will be placing background sounds and voiceover wherever they are

What images are prioritized in the opening sequences? The words 'A Star is Born' are presented one by one. In each word a picture is presented within it. In the letter 'A' an eye can be seen. Then in the word 'Star', two figures are shown starring at each other. In the word 'Is', the two people are seen sitting on the floor working on what seems to be a song together. After visiting the 'Watch the Titles Website' I was wowed by many title sequences. I visited this website to conduct research on different title sequences for my two minute project film. I will be using different title designs for my project, so it is essential that I complete some research on it before I actually get started on it. I came across many different title sequences. They all included descriptions explaining what the title sequence was made for. It also explains the process the title sequence went through to be produced. I also saw the title sequences in motion. All of which I saw were unique and creative. I learnt that important title sequence such as the ones I viewed on the website takes a lot of team work to make. Overall, these sequences all look like they took a lot of time to perfect and it amazes me how much team work and effort it takes to produce such beautiful styles.

After viewing the Art of the Title Website, I learnt so many new things about title designs. The main purpose I viewed this site was because I will be including and designing titles for in my two minute final task. In the website, I saw a variety of title sequences. These title sequences were made for a variety of genres. The title sequences included descriptions underneath which explains how the title sequence was brought up and who they were designed by. Some of the descriptions also have mini interviews where they explain how the designers get the opportunity to design for other projects. I learnt how different styles of the titles are told apart. For an example, some styles are recognized by year. There are styles named the '2020s' and styles named '1950s'. Overall the site is full of the great and unique styles.

After watching the film 'Dreamgirls', I noticed they used the drama elements sound, thought, plot, and character. Deena, Effie, and Lorrell are a music trio originally naming themselves the dreamettes. They met a manger named Curtis Taylor Jr. who promised to take them to the top of the game. The manger then begins to take too much control from the girls and then began to cause them to break apart one by one. This is the plot of the film. This film uses a lot of music. Some songs that they include are 'Listen' which was sung by Deena. Deena sung this song to express how she was feeling in the midst of the whole situation. She felt as if the manger wasn't listening to her from within. Another song that was sung was 'And I am Telling I'm Not Going' which was sung by Effie. Effie sang this song to express the hurt that she was feeling inside. The music of the film helped express some parts of the film as well. The character of the film would be Curtis. Alth

This short film called, “The Last 3 Minutes” was about the last three minutes of a man’s life. It is a drama that features a series of cuts, natural lighting, and non-diegetic music almost throughout the entire thing. The beginning scene begins with low key lighting and a long shot to show the entire scene. That is common when a film starts just to show the audience what the scene looks like. Throughout the entire film, there is hardly any dialogue or spoken words at all.  Some angles used in the film are low angles, high angles, profiles, and even dutch angles which aren’t too common in dramas. For example, a low angle is used at the start when the man clutches his chest. This is showing that he is a victim of the circumstance he in. He is weak and essentially powerless because there is no one around to help him. Also, most of the scenes are filmed in from the point of view of the subject. Maddy, a young smart girl has never left her home due to her overprotective mother because of an "illness". Olly lives next door from Maddy and will do anything to get her to experience life. The life that she never was able to experience. This is the plot of the film. The film uses the element of character whom is Olly. If it weren't for Olly, Maddy would've never left her life. She would have never been able to experience the real joy of life. She would have also never figured out that her mom has been lying to her for her whole entire life. The theme of the whole plot was to never be too afraid too do something. Maddy went against her fears and her moms rules and she went outside her house with Olly. The genre that my group and I decided on for our final task after researching drama, thriller, and comedy, is drama. We decided on this because we  knew it would fit perfectly with our short film just by looking at our pitch. If we had chosen comedy, then it would have been harder for us to incorporate comedic elements into our short film. The same goes for thriller. When me and my group visualize myself doing the genres comedy or thriller, we realize that we wouldn't have a setting or actors to fulfill the elements because of how drama filled our pitch is. We also wouldn't have been able to fulfill the conventions of the film. We would have loved to film a comedic film because that is one of the best genres and my group’s favorite genre when it comes to film. It would have been fun. The lighting is used to set the mood of the scenes and match the settings as well. For example, if someone is at a party, they will most likely use low key lighting to portray the fact that the characters are at a party. Camera angles most used in comedy films are high angles, low angles, and dutch angles. The low angle is used to make the person appear more dominate over someone or something. High angles are used to do the exact opposite of what low angle does for the actor. High angle makes the actor appear more vulnerable or make it known that there is something or someone higher or above the actor. Some elements of a thriller are a n action-packed opening, a  likeable protagonist, an unlikable antagonist, c liffhangers, character growth, a lesson, a t icking clock, which shows that the protagonist can be fighting with time, and an amazing, epic ending. Thrillers often have a race-against-time aspect to them – something that adds to the suspense and fuels the reader’s adrenaline rush. Our first pitch was about two female black super heroes.  our second pitch was about a black female mechanic.  We were interested in the first pitch because stereotypically most super heroes are men.  We wanted to make a statement that women are strong and just as equal as men are.  We also wanted to show equality in film.  There aren’t many black super hero representatives and we break that cycle.  Our second pitch is based more on real world problems.  We wanted to film this one because this pitch is representing a black women who is not only a person o color but also a mechanic.  We believed that this pitch would be  more relatable to real world problems that mostly black females face in society such as discrimination upon them just because of their gender and race.  It represents equality in color, and women empowerment.  This pitch has so much more of a deeper message that could be put into film .  We felt that this pitch would be more entertaining to film as well.  The fact that
